Help Shape the Region’s Energy Future — Take the Manufacturing Survey

Eastgate Regional Council of Governments and Lake to River Economic Development are conducting a confidential regional assessment of manufacturing energy needs and future demand. As part of this effort, they have developed a survey for manufacturers in Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties to better understand current and anticipated energy needs across the region.

This survey is part of a broader natural gas pipeline feasibility study funded primarily through an earmark in the State of Ohio Operating Budget. The study is intended to address limited natural gas supply across the four-county region. With rising energy demand and costs, state and regional economic development leaders will use the information gathered through this effort to help inform future energy infrastructure investments and policy decisions. Your participation is critical to this process.

All survey responses are anonymous and will be reported only in aggregate. Please consider who within your organization is best positioned to respond to questions related to your company’s energy demand and share the survey link with them
