NEW: GrantSafe Ohio | Making Safety Grant Funding Easier to Access

We’re excited to introduce GrantSafe Ohio* — a new resource helping employers across Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties access and navigate valuable workplace safety funding opportunities.

Through the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Safety Intervention Grant Program, eligible Ohio employers may qualify for up to $40,000 in funding for equipment and safety interventions that help reduce workplace injuries, improve ergonomics and create safer work environments.

Making Safety Grants Easier to Navigate

While significant funding is available, the grant application process can be time-consuming and paperwork intensive. GrantSafe Ohio is here to help simplify it.

GrantSafe Ohio works alongside employers throughout the process, assisting with:

• Identifying eligible safety equipment

• Gathering vendor quotes and required documentation

• Preparing grant applications

• Developing safety justifications for approval

• Navigating BWC requirements

• Managing the submission process

Who May Benefit?

Eligible organizations may include manufacturers, contractors, HVAC companies, landscapers, warehouses and distribution operations, transportation companies, healthcare providers, municipalities, schools and public entities and other qualifying Ohio employers.
