Join us for an informative Safety Council meeting featuring representatives from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s Safety Violations Investigation Unit (SVIU). The presentation will provide an overview of the Violations of Specific Safety Requirements (VSSR) process and explain how SVIU conducts impartial investigations on behalf of the Ohio Industrial Commission. Attendees will gain valuable insight into the investigation process, common procedures, and the role of safety requirements in Ohio’s workers’ compensation system. The session will be led by SVIU Investigator Jennifer Smith and SVIU Investigation Supervisor Nathan Cox, who bring extensive experience in workplace safety investigations and public service.
