Join the Regional Chamber for a special Lattes with Legislators event featuring Senator Jerry C. Cirino, who is serving his second term in the Ohio Senate representing Lake County and parts of Cuyahoga County.

With a strong background in business and local governance, including four years as a Lake County Commissioner and decades leading companies in the medical device industry, he brings a results-driven, fiscally conservative approach to state government. He played a central role in shaping Ohio’s higher education policy through legislation such as SB 1 and SB 135, and as Chair of the Senate Finance Committee, he played a pivotal role in guiding the Senate through the most recent operating budget process, which included key reforms like property tax relief.

A longtime community leader, Senator Cirino has served on numerous boards, including Lakeland Community College, Lake Health Systems, and Lake Erie College. He co-founded MyBoard Advisors, supporting small businesses and private equity firms, and has served on nonprofit and faith-based initiatives, including as Board Chair of Cleveland Right to Life.

A graduate of Lake Erie College with an MBA and an honorary doctorate, Cirino and his wife Donna have lived in Lake County for over 50 years, where they raised nine children and now enjoy their 39 grandchildren.
