Speaker Matt Huffman serves Ohio’s 78th House District and was unanimously elected speaker of the Ohio House for the 136th General Assembly after previously serving as president of the Ohio Senate. An attorney with more than 40 years of experience representing small businesses, Huffman has built a legislative career focused on economic growth, tax policy, regulatory reform and government efficiency.
Majority Floor Leader Marilyn John represents Ohio’s 76th House District and serves as majority floor leader. A former mayor of Shelby and Richland County commissioner, John has dedicated her career to public service and serves on several key committees, including Finance and Workforce and Higher Education, helping shape policies that impact Ohio businesses and communities.
House Majority Whip Nick Santucci represents Ohio’s 64th House District and serves as majority whip, chairman of the Sunset Review Committee and vice chair of the Ohio House Redistricting Committee. A former Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber executive and workforce development leader, Santucci brings extensive experience in business advocacy, education, workforce development and community engagement.
Representative Brian Stewart represents Ohio’s 12th House District, encompassing Madison and Pickaway counties and a portion of Franklin County. Now serving his third term, Stewart is an attorney, small business owner and U.S. Army infantry veteran of the Iraq War. His background in law, business and public service brings a valuable perspective to his work in the Ohio House.
