Family-Owned Business Awards Dinner 2027

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is proud to host the 2027 Family-Owned Business Recognition Dinner on Thursday, February 25, 2027, at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles.

Family-owned businesses are the foundation of our regional economy, representing generations of entrepreneurship, innovation, and community leadership. This annual event celebrates the achievements of outstanding family-owned businesses while recognizing the significant role they play in creating jobs, strengthening communities, and driving economic growth throughout the Mahoning Valley.

The Family-Owned Business Program provides resources, education, and networking opportunities to help family businesses navigate the unique challenges of ownership, leadership transitions, succession planning, and long-term growth. The Recognition Dinner serves as a celebration of these businesses and their lasting impact on our region.

Sixteen family-owned businesses will be recognized during the evening across four award categories:

Success in Succession
Recognizes a family business that has successfully implemented a thoughtful succession plan, ensuring a smooth leadership transition while positioning the company for continued success.

Social Impact Award
Honors a family-owned business that demonstrates an exceptional commitment to giving back and making a meaningful difference in the communities it serves.

Local to National Presence
Celebrates a family-owned business that has successfully expanded its reach beyond the Mahoning Valley while maintaining its family values and ownership.

Growth Story
Recognizes a family-owned business that has achieved significant growth through innovation, strategic planning, expansion, or transformation.

In addition to being recognized during the event, all selected honorees will be featured through the Chamber's marketing channels, including social media, digital communications, and Valley Business Magazine, showcasing their stories and contributions to the regional business community.

The evening will also feature a distinguished keynote speaker who will share insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, family business, and building a lasting legacy.
